At first, the smell of the collar was overwhleming. If I was in a small area with my dog I would get so stuffed up I couldn’t breathe well. I assume that with any collar, you still need to use other products to keep your pet pest-free(i.e. shampoos, sprays), and this collar is the same. It’s mot 100% effective, but when you use other pest killing products in your pet’s grooming routine this works fine.
